Life happens when you’re making plans

When Thomas was in 11th grade at a German school, he did a 10-month internship in the US, and discovered that he does not want to work in a 9 to 5 job. Discovering new cultures and learning other languages, while meeting new people, seemed much more attractive to him so he joined his friends initiative of building a lifestyle business and collected his first experiences as an entrepreneur.

Today, he is a successful self-made businessman.

He is CEO of the outsourcing company “Strandschicht”, which is a Virtual Personal Assistant Agency with 30+ full time employees, and is also involved in three other profitable projects, like a production company and, most recently, a new Info-Product business.

One hell of a ride: Adventures in Social Entrepreneurship

The third project is a social business in the area of sanitation. It´s the result of an idea: Thomas and three of his friends cycled halfway around the world, while raising money via a crowdfunding platform to build dry toilets in a village in India. Are you wondering how Thomas and his friends brought this adventure to life and what happened during their tour? Well, then join our next Meet Up and listen to his story!

In this workshop, you will learn how to set up a business even if you have almost no money. You will also learn how now famous companies tested and started their businesses with as little as $100 starting capital, and how you can use the principles of bootstrapping, pre-selling, and self-funding to create a business from the ground up without having rich parents or maxing out your credit card. Also, Thomas will talk about personal examples of how he started and built different projects from a co-working space, to a production company, to an ecological toilet business, to a workshop and seminar company and an outsourcing company without touching a single cent in my account.
